New Scout Registration

With just a couple of steps, your child will begin their Scouting adventure!  Let's get started!

Step 1 - Complete the new Scout application

This link will take you to the online application, where you will be asked to register as a Parent, and register your child.  Choose "new to scouting".  Here you will pay the dues that go to the Boy Scouts. Pack 55 receives no money.

Step 2 - Submit Payment for dues

Upon registration, Pack 55 will assess dues in addition what you pay when you register. We will collect these at a later date. This is what enables us to purchase patches, t-shirts, etc.

Uniform and handbook

Visit the scout shop to setup your child with their uniform and handbook. Some items are dependent upon the age group of your child, as follows:

• K - Lion

• 1st - Tiger

• 2nd - Wolf

• 3rd - Bear

• 4th / 5th - Webelo

Shopping list:

• Class A Uniform Shirt (or Lion T-shirt for grade K)

• Mecklenburg County, Pack 55 patches (please ask the Scout Shop attendants for assistance in picking the right patches)

• Hat

• Kerchief and clasp

• Belt

• Shorts / pants (optional)

• Socks (optional)

• Cub Scout Handbook
